Hyacinths are making an appearance along our pathways

Genus: Hyacinthus

Hyacinths are noted for their long-lasting blooms and their lovely fragrance.  Blooms can sometimes last up to three weeks.  The flowers come in many colors and grow on stiff, upright stems. They make an especially impressive display when planted in clusters.

Fun Fact: Hyacinths make a wonderful houseplant.  They are simple to grow and bloom easily.
